A ‘scotoma’ is a blind-spot that surround our daily life but we do not see it, in our society, in our environment, in our identity, in others, We are also affected by mental blind-spots which could be staring us in the face, yet we are still unable to see them. Those blind-spots make us pass judgments without even realizing our lack of true understanding, leaving us blind to the reality around us. They are based and formed through our thoughts and beliefs that are built up over a lifetime of experiences. Therefore, we should have the desire to expand our awareness, to reveal our blind-spots.
